O X JAPAN ou simplesmente X é uma banda japonesa que revolucionou o cenário musical no Japão.
A banda, atualmente formada por Yoshiki, Toshi, Sugizo, Pata e Heath foi uma das responsáveis pelo início do movimento Visual Kei, que até hoje se mantem em alta no Japão. O estilo predominante da banda era o Speed Metal, vertente do Heavy Metal, com muitas influências do Hard Rock e inclusive de Punk Rock, Glam Rock, entre outros. Conforme o tempo foi passando, a banda foi inovando o seu estilo.
Também lançou baladas de grande sucesso, para além do estilo speed metal.

Apesar de ter sido uma banda musical, X Japan é recordado com uma profunda saudade e emoção por inúmeros fãs, que acreditam que esta banda lhes mudou a vida e os incentivou a procurar na música a grande paixão e intensidade sentimental que caracterizava as letras de Yoshiki.

Após um hiato de em torno de dez anos, a banda anuncio o seu retorno em 4 de Junho de 2007. A liberação de uma nova canção via download digital, em Janeiro de 2008. Sendo que a partir de 2007 a banda já vendeu mais de 20 milhões de álbuns.
Yoshiki convidou seu amigo de infância, Toshi, para ir para Tóquio formar uma banda de rock. Inicialmente chamada NOISE, Yoshiki mais tarde muda o nome da banda para X (pronuncia-se em inglês: "ékssu").
Após várias trocas de membros, a banda finalmente estabelece-se
com a seguinte formação: Toshi no vocal, Hide e Pata nas guitarras, Taiji no baixo e Yoshiki na bateria e no piano.
Pela Extasy Records, em 1988, o X lança seu primeiro álbum, VANISHING VISION, tornando-se a primeira banda independente a aparecer no ranking da Oricon. Com o lema "Psychedelic Violence Crime of Visual Shock" (literalmente "Violência Psicodélica - Crime do Choque Visual") o X já dava a entender o tipo de som que fazia: pesado, agressivo, chocante, violento. Porém, nesse mesmo álbum encontram-se músicas mais calmas, com piano.
Em 1989, o X assina um grande contrato com a Sony Records do Japão. O seu primeiro álbum major é o BLUE BLOOD e novamente aparece na Oricon.

Grandes shows, prêmios, o sucesso é crescente para a banda.
Em 1991 é lançado o álbum JEALOUSY, primeiro lugar na Oricon. Nessa época, o X já começa a perder um pouco do visual chocante. Em 1992 é iniciada uma tradição: Um mega show no Tokyo Dome, um grande estádio do Japão. No mesmo ano, Taiji desentende-se seriamente com Yoshiki, devido a diferenças musicais, acabando por abandonar a banda.

Haimad é uma banda de black metal sinfônico formada em 1994 em Sundsvall, Suécia. A primeira estréia da banda foi com a demo “A Dream Vision Vanished” em 1995.

Em 1997 e 1999 foram lançados os EPs “The Horned Moon” e “Majestic”. Em seguida a banda deu uma longa pausa e só voltaram em 2017, em 2019 lançaram seu terceiro EP “The Return”.

Discografia Hellhammer

 

Hellhammer era uma banda suíça de metal extremo de Nurensdorf, ativa durante 1981-1984. Eles são considerados uma influência fundamental no black metal. Em junho de 1984, o Hellhammer se desfez e fundou outra banda altamente influente, Celtic Frost.

Inspirado pela música de Black Sabbath, Venom, Raven e Motörhead, o guitarrista/vocalista Thomas Gabriel Fischer (também conhecido como “Tom Warrior”), o baixista/vocalista Urs Sprenger (também conhecido como “Steve Warrior”) e o baterista Pete Stratton formaram o Hammerhead (depois Hellhammer) no início de 1981. Embora Fischer também tenha sido “surpreendido” pelos dois primeiros registros do Discharge – Why? e Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing, “não estava nem um pouco punk”.

Após a saída de Stratton e o baterista Jörg Neubart (também conhecido como “Bruce Day”) ingressando nas fileiras no outono de 1982, Hellhammer tentou encontrar espaços de ensaio adequados, o que provou ser difícil devido aos aluguéis excessivamente altos ou horas indisponíveis no estúdio. Em junho de 1983, o grupo gravou sua primeira fita demo, Triumph of Death, por meros $70. O álbum foi lançado pela Prowlin ‘Death/Century Media Records.

Além disso, Tom Fischer lançou um livro em 2010 intitulado Only Death Is Real: uma história ilustrada do Hellhammer e o início do Celtic Frost 1981-1985, que documenta os primeiros dias dessas bandas. O livro apresentava um prefácio do guitarrista do Darkthrone, Nocturno Culto, e uma introdução do autor Joel McIver.

Em 2016, a Century Media e a Prowling Death Records lançaram um single de vinil inédito de 7″ que a banda gravou originalmente em 1983 intitulado Blood Insanity. Tom Gabriel Fischer explicou que a banda contemplava o lançamento de material gravado na época das sessões de demonstração do Triumph of Death, Infelizmente, o single ficou em um estado não realizado até a separação da banda, tornando redundantes os planos de lançamentos futuros. Fischer continuou dizendo que nunca deixou de pensar desde então e apresentou a ideia de lançar o single para Century Media, em que a gravadora concordou.

Discografia Halestorm

  

Halestorm é uma banda americana de rock formada em 1997 na cidade de York, Pensilvânia pelos irmãos Lzzy Hale e Arejay Hale (na época tinham 13 e 10 anos respectivamente). Imediatamente após a formação da banda, começaram a compor músicas, trabalhar em novas demos e fazendo shows locais. Foi extremamente bem sucedido na Pensilvânia. Depois de muitas mudanças de guitarristas e baixistas, em 2004 a última formação estava feita. Com Lzzy Hale como vocalista e guitarra-base, Joe Hottinger na guitarra solo, Josh Smith no baixo e Arejay Hale na bateria.


Em 2005 assinaram um contrato com a Atlantic Records, lançando então seu primeiro EP, denominado "One And Done". Em 28 de abril de 2009 seu CD auto-intitulado Halestorm foi lançado, obtendo grande sucesso. Desde então, a banda passou a acompanhar, por todo o mundo, grandes bandas em várias turnês, assim tornando-se cada vez mais popular.

A banda venceu a 55º edição do Grammy, na categoria Melhor Performance de Hard Rock/Metal com a música "Love Bites (So Do I)", em 2013, e também participaram da premiação da Revolver Golden Gods Awards 2013, disputando nas categorias de: Melhor Baterista - Arejay Hale (ganhou), Melhor Vocalista - Lzzy Hale (indicação), Música do Ano - "Love Bites (So Do I)" (indicação) e Álbum do Ano - "The Strange Case Of..." (indicação).
